EBC Trekking Team is all smiles after reaching Everest Base Camp! En route from Gorak Shep, the team traveled through breathtaking landscapes, remote mountain villages, and rugged trails. Base camp is located at an elevation of around 5,364 meters (17,598 feet), and offers incredible views of the Khumbu Icefall and the surrounding Himalayan giants, including peaks like Nuptse, Lhotse, and glimpses of Everest itself.
The next morning the team climbed the peak of Kala Patthar, where they enjoyed one of the best vantage points for a close, unobstructed view of Mount Everest. Later that day the team descended to Lobuche, looking forward to hearty meals and hot drinks. Stunning views, can also be found particularly at sunrise and sunset at Lobuche. All is well in Nepal!
