July 5, 2018
After celebrating the 4th of July around the campfire on the Serengeti, Phunuru Sherpa and his team woke up to a wonderful breakfast followed by an awesome day on safari. “The animals were too many to count,” is how Phunuru described the day. Once back at their luxury safari camp, the team showered up and had a nice dinner.
Tomorrow will be their final day on safari, and it’s an amazing one. They’ll spend the bulk of the day in the famous Ngorongoro crater. The crater is roughly 16km x 19km and home to 5 prides of lions, over 500 hyenas, 30 rhinos, several hippo pools, elephants, countless zebras, wildebeest, buffaloes, warthogs, ostriches…the list goes on.
All is well on the Serengeti!
