IMG Guide Phunuru Sherpa checked in from Moshi. He said the team enjoyed their hike down to the trailhead and the awaiting pizza back at the hotel. After a some pizza and a beer (or two) they settled into their rooms for showers before the big celebration dinner and summit certificate presentation.
Tomorrow, a couple team members will head home, while the rest of the team heads to Arusha for their flight to the Serengeti. There’s nothing like landing in the middle of the Serengeti and seeing wildlife within 2 minutes of the airport!
All is well in Moshi!
