The route.
The Putha Hiunchuli Team checked in overnight with great news. They had a great rotation on the mountain with an overnight at Camp 1. Mike and the Team said that the route conditions are perfect with great cramponing. The weather continues to be good as well giving the team great views from up high! After climbing to Camp 1 and getting settled in for the night, the Team woke up early and climbed to Camp 2 before returning to Base Camp. The Team is strong and working together very well.
The plan now is to rest for a couple of days before heading up on their summit rotation on the 7th. Kaji got a resupply of fresh food including vegetables and chicken. That is a nice treat after being up high. We will be keeping an eye on the weather and looking for a couple great days of climbing.
