Karma Rita just called from base camp on Putha Hiunchuli (16,076’/4900m) to let us know the team has made it with all of their gear. The trek to base camp took the team just over four hours and the team pulled in just as a little rain began to fall. The rain stopped before dinner and the team will be settling in for the next couple of days. Two full rest days at base camp will allow the team to become familiar with all of their gear, do some training and get some well deserved rest. Next up will be the Puja!
