A quick weekend update from the Khumbu Valley: Our 3X2 Nepal Trek Team enjoyed a great day in Gokyo before dropping down to Machermo. Tomorrow, the team will head to Phortse which is the home of many great Sherpa climbers as well as the Khumbu Climbing Center.

Our Ama Dablam Team dropped down to Pangboche for the day and will return to Base Camp tomorrow after lunch to prepare for their summit rotation. The tentative plan is to pack and prepare on the 5th then begin moving up the mountain on the 6th. Weather is trending positively for the team, and we will focus on the 8th as our summit day.
