It has been a busy weekend in Nepal and Indonesia. First up Indonesia where IMG Senior Guides Austin Shannon and Jonathan Schrock have met the 2018 Carstensz Pyramid Team. Gear checks complete, welcome dinner and a quick nap. The Team is already at the airport in Bali and heading towards Timika. All is well with Carstensz!
In Nepal, the 3X2 with Lobuche Peak and Ama Dablam Teams had their Welcome Dinner and are ready to fly to Lukla. The team enjoyed the day in Kathmandu, touring the Monkey Temple and then heading to the Boudhanath Stupa Temple. The team is packed and ready to go to Lukla.
Our Mera Peak team is in Khote for the night. They flew into the Hinku Valley on schedule and are having a great trek!
The three private treks are moving as scheduled as well. Our Island/Mera Peak private is taking a rest day and will move up to Khare in the morning.
We have a counterclockwise trek heading to Namche for a couple days, and we have Harry Hamlin getting ready to fly to Lukla in the morning with a Gokyo Loop Trek.
All is well in Nepal!
