“All is well in Huraz, Peru” is the word we got from IMG Senior Guide Betsy-Dain-Owens. She said everyone is doing well and enjoyed the drive over the mountains. It was quite foggy on the coast in Lima but it’s beautiful and sunny in Huaraz. Once in Huaraz the team enjoyed some rest and a nice welcome dinner.
Today is an acclimatization / sightseeing day. They’ll spend some time hiking in the nearby Cordillera Negra. In the late afternoon they’ll head back to Huaraz for some gear checks and to get organized for their departure tomorrow morning.
