Our Putha Hiunchuli Team checked in this morning after a great weekend of trekking and acclimatizing. The Team trekked from Tarakot (2537m) up to Mushi Khola (2889m) and onto Kagkot (3200m) over the weekend. They experienced light rain on Friday and then it cleared up. Mike said that this is a very remote and beautiful area of Nepal. On Sunday afternoon, the Team went on an acclimatization hike and had great weather which enabled the Team to get great views of the surrounding mountains.
The Team will take another acclimatization day tomorrow and switch porters and yaks for the next couple of trek days into Putha Hiunchuli Base Camp.
All is well with our Team heading towards Putha Hiunchuli!
