We are now in the peak season for climbing in the North Cascades. Last week, lead guide Jonathan Schrock accompanied by guides Chris Magnus and Harry Hamlin took a group into the Boston Basin area to climb Forbidden Peak, Sharkfin Tower and Sahale Peak.
The weather was beautiful and a good time was had by all. The West Ridge of Forbidden Peak is one of the Northwest Classics, with solid rock climbing on moderate 5th class terrain. Great training grounds for snow, ice and rock climbing! Everything you need for a perfect introduction to the North Cascades or training for your next expedition!
