The Huayhuash Trek is off to a great start! IMG Guide Betsy Dain-Owens checked in yesterday after her team’s acclimatization hike just outside of Huaraz. She reports that “it was a beautiful day, everyone did really well with the altitude, and folks loved the views of the Cordillera Blanca!”.
The afternoon was spent organizing gear and doing gear checks. Some folks ventured into town and got some souvenirs.
