Senior guide Josh McDowell checked in this afternoon with good news from Mexico. Here’s the latest from south of the border:
Hey Phil,
We are down in Puebla after an amazing summit of Ixta this morning!  We had clear views all the way to Orizaba, with almost no wind.  It was absolutely spectacular. Since we made such good time on the climb, we are going to take the afternoon to catch the sights in Puebla.  Everyone is getting washed up right now, and we will be heading out to the square shortly.  After checking out the city, we will have an early dinner followed by some much needed sleep.
It will be an early departure for Tlachichuca in the morning.
