Kayak on Lago Grey
Night before last, it rained most of the evening but broke just as we departed from Domo Frances en route to Refugio Paine Grande via the French Valley. The clouds eventually subsided allowing the sun to set on Paine Grande and Los Cuernos. Pretty spectacular!
Today is a 4.5 hour hike to our last stop on the trail, Refugio Grey. Refugio Grey is more like a small hotel than a ‘refugio.’ If the weather holds, we’ll hop in the kayaks for an evening paddle around some icebergs!
Not a bad day if you ask me!
