Hey Phil,
Another great day! We made our way from Refugio Chileno to Refugio Los Cuernos today. It was another beautiful day! Hot this afternoon, thankfully we pulled into the Refugio in just about 5 hours, avoiding the sun in the afternoon.
We’re all settled in to our room. Some are napping while others went down to the rocky beach of Lago Nordenskjold. On the menu tonight is pescado con arroz (fish with rice).
After dinner we’ll head down to the lake and enjoy the sunset. Tomorrow is the Bader Valley. It’s a tough day but the views are worth it.
Since it’s an out and back day a few folks might hang back here and relax, which is a pretty good option. No better place to hang out and read a book if you ask me!
