The zone of weird plants. (Ang Jangbu Sherpa)
Craig John checked in from a breezy but clear Shira Camp. All is well on Kilimanjaro, the team trekked together and had great views of Kilimanjaro today. It is right there! Breaking out of the forest is a great feeling. Today’s trek signified another climate zone crossing. From the tall trees of the forest and into the land of “weird plants†like the Lobelia and the Groundsel. These plants are native to the high mountains of Africa.
After the Chicken Curry dinner and a few laughs, it is off to get some rest. It is a big day of up and down tomorrow!
