Most of our team flew home yesterday.\u00c2\u00a0 That ended a pretty much great trip.\u00c2\u00a0 Weather really couldn\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t have been better.\u00c2\u00a0 Hike day on Pasochoa was pretty much perfect, training day on Cotopaxi was pretty much perfect, climb day on Cotopaxi was totally perfect, training day on Cayambe was perfect and climbing day on Cayambe was a bit colder and windier but with totally clear skies.\u00c2\u00a0 We were lucky.\u00c2\u00a0 And, crampon conditions truly could not have been better.\u00c2\u00a0 We headed straight for the hot springs of Papallacta after Cayambe and figured cold beer, soaking in the hot springs and a big dinner was the right way to end the summit day.<\/p>\n

Plus, the crew was great.\u00c2\u00a0 Always great to see a group of mostly complete strangers bond, work together and come away friends.\u00c2\u00a0 Guess that\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s why we keep doing this stuff.\u00c2\u00a0 IMG customers are great!<\/p>\n

Next trip departs in June with Luke Reilly at the helm.\u00c2\u00a0 Soon, we\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ll be posting a story of Luke\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s time in Ecuador the last couple of years and his ascents of Ecuador\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s big peaks.\u00c2\u00a0 He know the trips wells and is anxious to get back there in June.\u00c2\u00a0 Join him and our partner, Romulo Cardenas.\u00c2\u00a0 You will be in for a treat.<\/p>\n
