{"id":6893,"date":"2012-04-30T10:22:05","date_gmt":"2012-04-30T18:22:05","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.mountainguides.com\/wordpress\/?p=6893"},"modified":"2012-04-30T10:22:05","modified_gmt":"2012-04-30T18:22:05","slug":"an-update-from-nepal","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mountainguides.com\/wordpress\/2012\/04\/30\/everest\/an-update-from-nepal\/","title":{"rendered":"An Update From Nepal"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>April 30, 2012<\/p>\n<p>On Everest, the Classic climbers and Lhotse climbers are wrapping up their first acclimatization rotation and are heading down to Base Camp.\u00c2\u00a0 Meanwhile, the Hybrid climbers have now moved back up to Camp 2, for their second rotation.\u00c2\u00a0 The Sherpa fixing team is getting close to reaching the South Col.\u00c2\u00a0 See the <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.mountainguides.com\/everest-south12.shtml \" target=\"_blank\">Everest Page<\/a><\/span> for more info.<\/p>\n<p>IMG guide Liam O&#8217;Sullivan and the Ama Dablam climbers are wrapping up a couple days of acclimatization at Everest Base Camp, and are ready to head back down to Lobuche Peak. \u00c2\u00a0While at EBC they had the chance to get all rigged up and practice on the &#8220;ropes course&#8221;
