\n\t\t<\/div>\n\nIMG senior guide Jason Edwards reports from Jakarta, Indonesia that the entire team made it on schedule to the meeting point along with all their luggage, a good way to start a trip!\u00c2\u00a0 After 17\u00c2\u00a0 hours of flying from Seattle, Jason said they were glad to see the hotel and get a good rest.\u00c2\u00a0 Today, they did some final organizing, and this evening they are flying another 6 hours east, to the town of Timika<\/a> in the Papua province of Indonesia on the island of New Guinea. \u00c2\u00a0One more flight after that, and they will be ready to start the jungle trek to Carstensz \u00c2\u00a0base camp.<\/p>\n
Carstensz Pyramid is one of the most elusive of the \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Seven Summits\u00e2\u20ac\u009d\u00c2\u00a0 \u00c2\u00a0(16,023 ft,\u00c2\u00a0 4,884 m)\u00e2\u20ac\u2030tucked away in a very remote part of the continent of Oceania.\u00c2\u00a0 Just getting to the peak is one of the most challenging parts of the trip.\u00c2\u00a0 We\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ll look forward to following Jason and his team as they undertake a week of trekking through the jungle to Base Camp!<\/p>\n
