En route from Gorak Shep, the team traveled\u00a0 through breathtaking landscapes, remote mountain villages, and rugged trails. Base camp is located at an elevation of around 5,364 meters (17,598 feet), and\u00a0 offers incredible views of the Khumbu Icefall and the surrounding Himalayan giants, including peaks like Nuptse, Lhotse, and glimpses of Everest itself.<\/p>\n
The next morning the team climbed the peak of Kala Patthar, where they enjoyed one of the best vantage points for a close, unobstructed view of Mount Everest. Later that day the team descended to Lobuche, looking forward to\u00a0hearty meals and hot drinks. \u00a0Stunning views, can also be found particularly at sunrise and sunset at Lobuche.
