Machu Picchu trekkers and Cusco (Tyler Nachand)<\/p><\/div>\n

Tyler Nachand and Maximo traveled to Cusco after the Huayhuash trek wrapped up, and they have now met up with our first (of two) trek teams doing the Inca Trail route to Machu Picchu. Today was an\u00a0 easy day, visiting some of the sights around Cusco.\u00a0 Since they are at about 11,000 feet, its good to take it slow for the first couple days!\u00a0 They visited Qorikancha,\u00a0 Saksaywaman, Q\u2019enqo,\u00a0 Tambomachay and Puka Pukara.\u00a0 Later in the day, after lunch, they visited the Cathedral and Plaza de Armas (central square).\u00a0 All’s well in Peru!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
