On the summit of Uhuru Peak (Ang Jangbu Sherpa)<\/p><\/div>\n

Ang Jangbu reports that the team had a very nice climb to the Top of Africa today, with 100% of the team reaching the true summit in perfect weather.\u00c2\u00a0 The team climbed the Barafu Route to Stella Point (where they hit the Crater rim), then traversed left around to the highest point at Uhuru Peak.\u00c2\u00a0 After reaching the summit, they descended back to Barafu Camp for a short rest and to get packed up, before continuing their descent to Mweka Camp down at treeline.\u00c2\u00a0 After a good night sleep they will finish the descent tomorrow morning back down to the Mweka Gate, where they will get picked up for the drive to Moshi at the foot of the mountain.\u00c2\u00a0 Well done team!!<\/p>\n
