IMG Partner Eric Simonson checked in overnight from Rongbuk. The team was up early, departing Kharta early in the morning and heading to Rongbuk. With the new paved road, the trip took much less time than when Eric went to the North Side of Everest back in the 1980\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s.<\/p>\n

After arriving at Rongbuk, the team took the high trail route further up the Rongbuk to get more views of Mount Everest. There was a big lenticular over Everest but the views never disappoint.<\/p>\n
