\n\t\t\t\tRoad to BC with Cho Oyu (Phunuru Sherpa)\n\t\t\t\t<\/dd><\/dl>

Dallas and Phunuru checked in overnight.\u00c2\u00a0 Phunuru and the Advanced Sherpa Team made it to Chinese Base Camp and have all the big tents up.\u00c2\u00a0 \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Big tents\u00e2\u20ac\u009d refer to the dining and cook tents that we set up as the core of camp.\u00c2\u00a0 The Sherpa Team will set up the sleeping tents tomorrow in anticipation of the team\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s arrival.<\/p>\n
Down in Tingri (14,100 ft), Dallas and the climbing team took a moderate acclimatization hike.\u00c2\u00a0 They caught their first glimpse of Cho Oyu and enjoyed a visit to a local monastery before lunch.\u00c2\u00a0 The afternoon was spent taking care of themselves.\u00c2\u00a0 Some people took a nap, others did some reading, and some adventurous members went out and did a little shopping.\u00c2\u00a0 Tomorrow will be a good test day.\u00c2\u00a0 The team will head out and hike to over 15,500 ft in the hills east of town.<\/p>\n
