OK, catch up time with all the IMG teams \u00e2\u20ac\u02dcdown south\u00e2\u20ac\u2122.\u00c2\u00a0 Greg, Luke and the Vinson team got down to Vinson base camp yesterday.\u00c2\u00a0 No word today so their either still at Vinson base or have moved over to the Union Glacier camp.\u00c2\u00a0 Possible flight off the Ice tomorrow.\u00c2\u00a0 Has not yet been confirmed but a good possibility.\u00c2\u00a0 A second opportunity to fly back to Punta Arenas is on the 20th<\/sup>.\u00c2\u00a0 They are in a SUPER position.<\/p>\nNickel, Rikki, Martin and crew called in after their successful carry to C2 today.\u00c2\u00a0 Went well.\u00c2\u00a0 Weather was reasonable and the team was strong after their rest day at C1.\u00c2\u00a0 Plan is to make the big move tomorrow to C2.\u00c2\u00a0 That\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s a big milestone as they\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ll then be within striking distance of the summit with just one more move.\u00c2\u00a0 They\u00e2\u20ac\u2122re all performing well.<\/p>\n
Emily, Romulo and team have had the best of times together and the worst of climbing conditions.\u00c2\u00a0 We\u00e2\u20ac\u2122re typically hoping for more snow when heading to Ecuador to climb.\u00c2\u00a0 Be careful what you wish for.\u00c2\u00a0 Too much snow, at the wrong time, was the issue this year.\u00c2\u00a0 The crew really didn\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t have a chance on Chimborazo.\u00c2\u00a0 Had been snowing hard and was snowing hard when they took off.\u00c2\u00a0 You just can\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t risk climbing in the avalanche conditions they encountered.\u00c2\u00a0 Obvious to all but still disappointing.\u00c2\u00a0 Regardless, this trip is coming to an end.\u00c2\u00a0 The Team will be catching flights home on Thursday.\u00c2\u00a0 Lots of good memories, good new friendships and here\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s hoping there will be a \u00e2\u20ac\u02dcrematch\u00e2\u20ac\u2122 back in Ecuador for the guys soon.<\/p>\n
