Great news this morning \u00e2\u20ac\u201c Luke and team reached the summit of Chimborazo.\u00c2\u00a0 No small accomplishment.\u00c2\u00a0 Snow conditions for the last several years have been \u00e2\u20ac\u02dcless than optimal\u00e2\u20ac\u2122 on Chimborazo and it\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s simply a more difficult climb these days.\u00c2\u00a0 That\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s why IMG limits our attempts to 4 climbers plus guides.\u00c2\u00a0 Today, everything fell into place.\u00c2\u00a0 Some new snow, good climbing team members, great leadership and being in the right place at the right time all came together and the result was a great success on the tallest peak in Ecuador.\u00c2\u00a0 Team is already on their way to the town of Banos for a little food and a shower.\u00c2\u00a0 What a great way to cap off an already great trip.\u00c2\u00a0 EVERYONE did their part, including the weather, and the results prove it.<\/p>\n
With that, let\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s wrap up posting for this trip.\u00c2\u00a0 The team will have Thanksgiving dinner with Romulo and Patricia, at their house.\u00c2\u00a0 It really doesn\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t get a lot better.\u00c2\u00a0 We\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ll do this again in February with Emily Johnston and Romulo Cardenas leading the way.\u00c2\u00a0 Join us —– still room for 1 or 2 more.<\/p>\n
