(Photo by Andrew Carafelli)<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Update \u00e2\u20ac\u201c All members of  the team have now reached Mweka Camp and are doing  well.<\/p>\n<p>Phil Ershler<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">October 3, 2010<\/span><\/p>\n<p>News  flash from Tanzania \u00e2\u20ac\u201c John Colver called in this  evening (Pacific time), to report that all 11 team members and 5 guides were  standing together on Uhuru, the true summit of Kilimanjaro!\u00c2\u00a0 Weather is  perfect.\u00c2\u00a0 Not a cloud in the sky and not a breath of wind.\u00c2\u00a0 Now, that\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s what I  call a perfect day.\u00c2\u00a0 The team will report in when they have reached Mweka Camp  at 10,000 ft.<\/p>\n<p>Phil  Ershler<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>October 4, 2010 Update \u00e2\u20ac\u201c All members of the team have now reached Mweka Camp and are doing well.
