Congratulations are in order for Dustin and his team on Kilimanjaro.\u00c2\u00a0 100% on the true summit.\u00c2\u00a0 Perfect weather and the team could not have performed better.\u00c2\u00a0 No issues with the descent and everyone is now all the way down to Mweka Camp.\u00c2\u00a0 The air is a lot thicker and a bunch warmer at 10,000\u00e2\u20ac\u2122.\u00c2\u00a0 They\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ve had their last dinner on the trail and all are grabbing some serious zzzz\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s.\u00c2\u00a0 Just a super job by all \u00e2\u20ac\u201c our climbers, the entire Chagga guide staff and crew and Dustin.\u00c2\u00a0 Everyone did their part and the weather cooperated.<\/p>\n
They\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ll walk the last few hours tomorrow morning to the Mweka Gate, where they\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ll check out with the Park Service, grab certificates and head back to the hotel.\u00c2\u00a0 Showers, a final dinner together and a little celebrating will be in order.\u00c2\u00a0 Dustin will be heading off the next morning for a climb of Mt. Meru and our members will be doing their own safari to Serengeti and Ngorongoro after the climb.\u00c2\u00a0 This has been a seriously good trip.\u00c2\u00a0 We\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ll try to get Dustin to write up a short description of his Meru climb for those who might be considering it in the future.\u00c2\u00a0 Well done, team.<\/p>\n
