The weather and conditions remain good and the ridge was in good shape for climbing.<\/p>\n<p><a onclick=\"window.open('http:\/\/www.mountainguides.com\/photos\/amadablam\/lower-ridge-route.jpg','','width=620,height=510,left=50,top=50,menubar=yes,location=yes,scrollbars=yes,status=no,toolbar=no,resizable=yes,screenX=50,screenY=10');return false\" href=\"http:\/\/www.mountainguides.com\/photos\/amadablam\/lower-ridge-route.jpg\" rel=\"lightbox[155]\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"middle\" style=\"border: 1px solid ; width: 312px\" title=\"The Ridge Route on Ama Dablam (photo: Justin Merle)\" alt=\"The Ridge Route on Ama Dablam (photo: Justin Merle)\" src=\"http:\/\/www.mountainguides.com\/photos\/amadablam\/lower-ridge-route.jpg\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Their plan is to make an alpine start tomorrow morning and try to go for the summit from Camp 2 (skipping C3).  This makes the summit day longer, but eliminates having to stay at Camp 3, which has been hit by falling ice occasionally in past years.
