\n\t\t<\/div>\n\nAnyone who is in the mountains long enough gets to celebrate a birthday up there.\u00c2\u00a0 I remember one of my birthdays spent on Denali at 11,000\u00e2\u20ac\u2122 digging out of a snowstorm and sharing a Toblerone candy bar with my tent mate.<\/p>\n
It is Charlotte Austin\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s birthday today on Kilimanjaro at Barranco Camp (13,000\u00e2\u20ac\u2122). \u00c2\u00a0Charlotte and her Team had a fantastic day of trekking.\u00c2\u00a0 Blue skies all day.\u00c2\u00a0 Up to the Lava Towers where the Team had lunch and back down to Barranco Camp.\u00c2\u00a0 The Team saw tomorrows objective which is the Barranco Wall and are excited to get after it.<\/p>\n
Charlotte was surprised with a birthday cake after dinner and told me that with the great weather today, everyone\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s stuff is drying out.\u00c2\u00a0 Pretty good present to have dry gear.\u00c2\u00a0 The weather is looking good for the Team over the next few days.<\/p>\n
