{"id":148,"date":"2009-10-15T08:58:41","date_gmt":"2009-10-15T16:58:41","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mountainguides.com\/wordpress\/?p=148"},"modified":"2009-10-15T08:58:41","modified_gmt":"2009-10-15T16:58:41","slug":"img-bhutan-team-in-laya-at-12600","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mountainguides.com\/wordpress\/2009\/10\/15\/bhutan\/img-bhutan-team-in-laya-at-12600\/","title":{"rendered":"IMG Bhutan Team in Laya at 12,600&#8242;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>October 15, 2009<\/p>\n<p>Another big day for the team trekking through Bhutan, and another very successful day.\u00c2\u00a0 Up and over Sinche La at 16,400 feet and now in the village of Laya .\u00c2\u00a0 Weather remains perfect with no signs of changing.\u00c2\u00a0 The group has just walked back about 100 years in time.\u00c2\u00a0 At 12,600 feet, Laya is a very special place.\u00c2\u00a0 The women have a unique way of dressing and will show off their unique dances tomorrow evening for the team around a bonfire.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"525\" height=\"394\" align=\"middle\" src=\"http:\/\/www.mountainguides.com\/photos\/bhutan\/women-laya.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Two nights in Laya with a full day of rest now for the crew.\u00c2\u00a0 There&#8217;s a school in town, and I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122m sure the team will pay a visit tomorrow.
