BUSY season for IMG teams in South America and Antarctica. \u00c2\u00a0Let\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s starts with our Vinson teams first.<\/p>\n

\"Vinson<\/a>

Vinson Team 3 in Punta Arenas<\/p><\/div>\n

As you know, Greg Vernovage, Austin Shannon and their team all stood together on the summit of Vinson a couple of days ago.\u00c2\u00a0 They flew off the Ice this morning, exactly on schedule.\u00c2\u00a0 One night in Punta Arenas and they\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ll be saying good-bye to one another.\u00c2\u00a0 Great team, great success.\u00c2\u00a0 Austin Shannon remained on the Ice and met the 4 climbers on our third and final team this morning.\u00c2\u00a0 They are standing by for their flight to Vinson base camp now.\u00c2\u00a0 China, Korea, Canada and the USA.\u00c2\u00a0 They should have fun.\u00c2\u00a0 We will be posting dates for the 2016\/17 Vinson expeditions soon.\u00c2\u00a0 Hope you don\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t miss out.<\/p>\n

On Aconcagua, Josh McDowell, Robert Jantzen, Martin Lucero and team decided discretion was the better part of valor and are retreating from the mountain.\u00c2\u00a0 Snow and wind was making their potential summit attempt simply too much this time around.\u00c2\u00a0 That\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s OK, they\u00e2\u20ac\u2122re healthy and unhurt and hoping there\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ll be a rematch with Aconcagua in their future.\u00c2\u00a0 Team will be back in Mendoza late on the 12th<\/sup>.\u00c2\u00a0 Great effort and solid, consensus decision-making.\u00c2\u00a0 Jonathan Schrock will be teaming up with Martin and the next IMG Aconcagua group in just over a week.\u00c2\u00a0 We\u00e2\u20ac\u2122re wishing them much better luck with the weather.<\/p>\n

And, we need to report in on our final Ecuador trip of the season.\u00c2\u00a0 Led by Luke Reilly, the crew is in Otavalo today.\u00c2\u00a0 The famous Indian market there was on the agenda early this morning.\u00c2\u00a0 They\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ll be taking in the sights\/sounds\/smells and getting in a couple of acclimatization hikes in the surrounding mountains prior to heading towards their first objective \u00e2\u20ac\u201c the summit of Cayambe.\u00c2\u00a0 Luke Reilly and Romulo Cardenas \u00e2\u20ac\u0153do\u00e2\u20ac\u009d an Ecuador climbing trip unlike anyone else.\u00c2\u00a0 The group is in for a treat.<\/p>\n
