Then, they were fortunate to be able to fly over to Union Glacier late last evening.\u00c2\u00a0 Now, they\u00e2\u20ac\u2122re \u00e2\u20ac\u02dcliving large\u00e2\u20ac\u2122 at Union Glacier.\u00c2\u00a0 Life there is amazingly \u00e2\u20ac\u02dccush\u00e2\u20ac\u2122 as compared to life at high camp.\u00c2\u00a0 What a difference a day makes.<\/p>\n<p>It\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s simply a matter now of waiting until the weather clears for the flight to Chile.\u00c2\u00a0 Tentative date for that flight is 9 Jan.\u00c2\u00a0 That\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s when our final team of the season will fly on.\u00c2\u00a0 All\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s good on the Ice.<\/p>\n<p>Phil Ershler<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>January 6, 2015 Just spoke with Greg Vernovage down on the Ice.\u00c2\u00a0 Yesterday was a big day.\u00c2\u00a0 The team went down from high camp, all the way to Vinson base camp.
