The holiday season is over so let\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s catch up with all the comings and goings for IMG teams around the world.<\/p>\n

The boat ride home<\/p><\/div>\n

Tye Chapman called in yesterday to say the group had a super day kayaking amongst the icebergs in Lago Grey and that everyone\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s excited about their boat ride down the lake this morning and back to \u00e2\u20ac\u02dccivilization\u00e2\u20ac\u2122.\u00c2\u00a0 That said, two nights at Refugio Grey can hardly be called roughing it.\u00c2\u00a0 One final night in Puerto Natales and they\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ll be on their way home.\u00c2\u00a0 All\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s good in Patagonia.<\/p>\n

Greg Vernovage called in yesterday, too \u00e2\u20ac\u201c from the SUMMIT of Vinson Massif.\u00c2\u00a0 All members were standing on top of the bottom of the world. They\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ve got a big move today to get all the way down to base camp.\u00c2\u00a0 Nice part is that it\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s all downhill.\u00c2\u00a0 They\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ll then fly to the Union Glacier as soon as possible and will be waiting there for the IL76 flight back to Chile.\u00c2\u00a0 That flight is scheduled for the 9th, weather permitting.\u00c2\u00a0 Our fourth and final trip for the season, under the leadership of IMG Senior Guide, Aaron Mainer, will be flying in on that same flight.\u00c2\u00a0 They\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ll have time to shake hands as they pass each other on the way to\/fr the airplane.\u00c2\u00a0 All\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s good on the Ice.<\/p>\n

News is also good on Aconcagua.\u00c2\u00a0 Peter Adams called yesterday to let us know they had a relatively warm day to SUMMIT Aconcagua.\u00c2\u00a0 Aconcagua is a very physically demanding climb, more than most people realize, and anyone who summits can be justly proud of the effort and persistence shown to reach the summit.\u00c2\u00a0 Well done, team.\u00c2\u00a0 They move today down to Plaza Mulas.\u00c2\u00a0 That\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s base camp on the Horcones Valley side of the mountain.\u00c2\u00a0 One long, final hike on Tuesday and they\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ll likely push straight to Mendoza that same evening.\u00c2\u00a0 Steak and wine for all.<\/p>\n

Josh McDowell\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s team on Aconcagua reported in with a strong carry to C1.\u00c2\u00a0 Plan is for them to move up to C1 today.\u00c2\u00a0 Forecast remains for clear skies, right into the weekend.<\/p>\n

It\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s been a safe and successful holiday season for IMG teams abroad.<\/p>\n
