Let\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s get caught up with the action over the holidays!\u00c2\u00a0 First, Team Taylor got home in time to celebrate New Year\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s back in the States.\u00c2\u00a0 Meanwhile, Greg Vernovage and team flew onto the Ice and got shuttled, right away to Vinson base camp.\u00c2\u00a0 They haven\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t been wasting any time.\u00c2\u00a0 Their carry to high camp is already done and they\u00e2\u20ac\u2122re back at C1 waiting for the right weather to move up and summit.\u00c2\u00a0 They probably couldn\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t be in a better position.\u00c2\u00a0 The team is healthy, strong and moving well.\u00c2\u00a0 All\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s good there.<\/p>\n

Max Bunce and Team Kilimanjaro are finished, wrapped up and are almost home.\u00c2\u00a0 Most will be sleeping in their own beds tonight.\u00c2\u00a0 Super trip for the team and Mike Haft will be heading out with a couple more groups in about a month.<\/p>\n

Down on Aconcagua, 2 IMG teams are making their way up the mountain.\u00c2\u00a0 If weather permits, Peter Adams and crew will be trying to move to C2 today while Josh McDowell and team will be reaching Plaza Argentina (base camp) today.\u00c2\u00a0 Again – so far, so good.<\/p>\n

We also have to report on Tye Chapman and crew and their trek through Patagonia.\u00c2\u00a0 I did this trek personally last year with a sensational IMG team (and my wife) and all I can say is \u00e2\u20ac\u201c go!\u00c2\u00a0 Beautiful, enjoyable and you don\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t have to deal with high altitude.\u00c2\u00a0 They\u00e2\u20ac\u2122re walking up into the French Valley today.\u00c2\u00a0 Almost no groups make the extra effort to get up there.\u00c2\u00a0 They\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ll spend the night at the Refugio Paine Grande.\u00c2\u00a0 Our team watched the Super Bowl there last February.\u00c2\u00a0 Was that cool or what?!<\/p>\n
