It has been a busy couple of days in the Khumbu Valley.<\/p>\n

\"Ama<\/a>

Ama Dablam Puja (Justin Merle)<\/p><\/div>\n

The Ama Dablam Team had their Puja ceremony this morning and has begun moving up Ama Dablam.\u00c2\u00a0 The first group of climbers moved up to Yak camp today, where they will familiarize themselves with the route and continue to acclimatize higher up.\u00c2\u00a0 Our second group will meet them at Yak camp tomorrow.\u00c2\u00a0 After a night at Yak Camp, the team will touch and go back down to camp 1.<\/p>\n

Up the Valley, the 3 x 3 and Lobuche climbing Team has had a very busy couple of days.\u00c2\u00a0 Tye reported from Lobuche Village that it was a long day with slippery conditions on the trail.\u00c2\u00a0 \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Slippery\u00e2\u20ac\u009d is a technical term for us.\u00c2\u00a0 There was a little snow encountered on the trail over Khnongma La.\u00c2\u00a0 A little education here: \u00e2\u20ac\u0153La\u00e2\u20ac\u009d means pass, so when you read \u00e2\u20ac\u0153La\u00e2\u20ac\u009d at the end of the name, it is letting you know that they are passing through a high pass or notch in the mountain range.<\/em>\u00c2\u00a0 The Team worked hard and was on the trail for a while yesterday.\u00c2\u00a0 Once again, why hurry, the views in all direction are worthy of a stop and soak in the landscape.\u00c2\u00a0 Some Tea and dinner and a good night sleep in Lobuche was well earned.<\/p>\n
