We received word last night and again today from our Team in Mexico.\u00c2\u00a0 Word from IMG Senior Guide, Expedition Doctor and all around great person, Dr Emily Johnston checked in from Mexico with our team.\u00c2\u00a0 The team arrived with all of their gear and got to know each other last night before heading our to Amecameca this morning.\u00c2\u00a0 “This is a great team!” said Emily.\u00c2\u00a0 Accompanying Emily is Senior Guide Porter McMichael.<\/p>\n

Trekking near Ixta (Emily Johnston)<\/p><\/div>\n

The team departed Mexico City and headed off to Amecameca where they dropped their gear off at the hotel and headed our for an acclimatization hike.\u00c2\u00a0 The team performed great and was all smiles, taking in views of Ixta and Popo.\u00c2\u00a0 After trekking to 13,000 feet, they decided to head back down, acclimatization job done for the day and now time to enjoy a delicious dinner.<\/p>\n
