Climbers then take a travel\/training half-day of instructional training followed by a summit attempt via Rainier&#8217;s historic Disappointment Cleaver route. <\/span><strong>2022 Dates<em>:<\/em> <\/strong>May 25-31, <span class=\"rainier_full\">Jul 8-14, <\/span>Aug 25-31<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"color: #000080;\"><a style=\"color: #000080;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.mountainguides.com\/rnr-winter.shtml\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-segment-action=\"add\" data-segment-id=\"0e1d9a84-c189-11eb-a2c9-fa163e22e13c\"><span style=\"color: #003366;\">Winter Seminar\/Summit Climb<\/span><\/a>\u00c2\u00a0<\/span>\u00e2\u20ac\u201c This 6.5-day program is designed to give our climbers a summit attempt of Mount Rainier along with a full training curriculum created to prepare climbers for bigger expeditions such as Denali.\u00c2\u00a0 <\/span><strong>2022 Dates:<\/strong> April 27- May 3<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"color: #003366;\"><a style=\"color: #003366;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.mountainguides.com\/rnr-tahoma.shtml\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-segment-action=\"add\" data-segment-id=\"0e1d9a84-c189-11eb-a2c9-fa163e22e13c\">Little Tahoma\/Rainier Seminar<\/a>\u00c2\u00a0<\/span>\u00e2\u20ac\u201c Our 7-day Little Tahoma\/Rainier Seminar puts climbers on a 3 day training seminar and summit attempt on Little Tahoma, Mt Rainier&#8217;s slightly lower twin, the 3rd highest peak in Washington State. Rainier (Lara Ralich)<\/p><\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>We have added dates and expanded our existing winter seminars!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.mountainguides.com\/ouray.shtml\"><span style=\"color: #003366;\">Ouray Expedition Prep Seminar &#8211; <\/span><\/a>For climbers looking to prepare for an expedition on bigger mountains like Denali, this 4-day program will spend time talking through expedition skills, and working on crevasse rescue and self-rescue techniques. The program will be hotel based, but if conditions allow, the group will spend one night winter-snow camping, with a short approach pulling sleds \u00e2\u20ac\u201d a good introduction to the extreme self-care required for expedition climbing. If time allows, climbers will also sample the ice-climbing that Ouray is known for.<\/p>\n<p><strong>2022 Dates: <\/strong>Feb 15-18, Feb 24-27<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #003366;\"><a style=\"color: #003366;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.mountainguides.com\/white-mountains.shtml\">Mt. Washington Expedition Prep Seminar &#8211;<\/a> <\/span>This course is the perfect addendum to your previous climbing experience in teaching you expedition specific skills, with a summit-attempt of Mt. Washington included.\u00c2\u00a0 The first and second days will be spent outdoors reviewing and learning technical skills: ice axe arrest, cramponing, belaying skills, rope travel, snow anchors, crevasse rescue, glaciated travel, and sled rigging. We will return to town for the first two evenings.
