Another Mexico expedition is well underway.\u00c2\u00a0 IMG partner, George Dunn, has broken away from our Ashford office to lead another expedition to the fun and sun of Mexico.\u00c2\u00a0 Assisting him are Austin Shannon and Fernando Posadas.\u00c2\u00a0 The guides were down in Mexico City late last week doing a bit of last minute shopping and prepping for the team\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s arrival on Saturday.\u00c2\u00a0 For the last couple of days, they\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ve been out acclimatizing near Paseo de Cortes.\u00c2\u00a0 As many times as some of our customers, and guides, have been to altitude, it\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s still necessary to log some acclimatization time.\u00c2\u00a0 Just no way to short cut this process.\u00c2\u00a0 They headed to the Altzomoni Hut near the Cortes Pass yesterday, carried a load to high camp on Ixta and are heading to high camp this morning.\u00c2\u00a0 George called in yesterday to confirm that everyone\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s in good health, strong and appear quite ready for these climbs.\u00c2\u00a0 As usual for this time of year, weather is simply perfect.<\/p>\n

Tomorrow\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s summit day.\u00c2\u00a0 It\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s a long one.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0 Up around midnight, climb, descend and pack camp and bolt for showers in the city of Puebla.\u00c2\u00a0 The Ayoloco Glacier is calling first, however.<\/p>\n
