It\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s a time to lather a fresh coat of wax on the skis.\u00c2\u00a0 Blow the dust off the goggles.\u00c2\u00a0 Put on old ski movies.\u00c2\u00a0 And of course watch the weather like a hawk. With each passing storm local skiers and riders count every inch of snow, waiting patiently for the first turns of the season.<\/p>\n<p>With the highest winter trailhead just down the road from our office door, we here at IMG are celebrating the onset of winter.\u00c2\u00a0 The excitement in the air is palpable. Come join us for one of our winter programs, including Avalanche Courses, Backcountry Skiing\/Riding, and Winter Expedition Seminars.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>New for this winter:<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.mountainguides.com\/rnr-backcountry-touring.shtml\" target=\"_blank\">Backcountry Touring Seminar:<\/a>\u00c2\u00a0 Moving from the ski area to the backcountry.\u00c2\u00a0 This course will focus on skills needed to become a competent backcountry skier or rider, including an AIARE Level 1 Avalanche Course.<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.mountainguides.com\/rnr-ski-traverse.shtml\" target=\"_blank\">Mt Rainier Ski Traverse:<\/a>\u00c2\u00a0 Experience Mt Rainier in one of the most unique ways imaginable: on skis during the winter.\u00c2\u00a0 Our team will traverse Mt Rainier from Paradise to the Carbon River around the east side of the mountain.<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.mountainguides.com\/rnr-avalanche-level1.shtml\" target=\"_blank\">AIARE Level 1 Avalanche Courses:<\/a>\u00c2\u00a0 With classroom time hosted at the Outdoor Research Building in Seattle and field sessions on Mt Rainier.\u00c2\u00a0 This is an excellent course for those winter recreationist looking for avalanche education.<\/p>\n<p>Here\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s to a great winter!<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Dallas Glass, IMG Guide<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>October 24, 2014 Joining us in the office this week &amp; covering for the globetrotting Tye Chapman is the awesome IMG Guide Dallas Glass.\u00c2\u00a0 What&#8217;s on your mind Dallas?
