Andy and his team called in EARLY (my time) this morning from the Serengeti.\u00c2\u00a0 Andy has led a lot of Kilimanjaro climbs and he\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s been on the same number of safaris but he sounded extra excited this morning.\u00c2\u00a0 Apparently, the short rains of the normal fall season have come a bit early this year.\u00c2\u00a0 Result is the \u00e2\u20ac\u02dcgreening\u00e2\u20ac\u2122 of the Serengeti and animals everywhere.\u00c2\u00a0 Two large giraffes had just walked through their camp and they were settling down for a nap after a day of game viewing which Andy said was simply incredible.\u00c2\u00a0 Twice he said, \u00e2\u20ac\u0153I can\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t believe the number of animals we\u00e2\u20ac\u2122re seeing\u00e2\u20ac\u009d.\u00c2\u00a0 And, sounds like the camps are a huge hit with this team.\u00c2\u00a0 \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Way nicer than staying only in lodges\u00e2\u20ac\u009d was the comment.\u00c2\u00a0 I got the feeling that this group is seriously into their safari experience.\u00c2\u00a0 Plenty of Motel 6\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s in the rest of the world.\u00c2\u00a0 This is EAST AFRICA!<\/p>\n
