We heard from the teams on Cho Oyu and Putha Hiunchuli overnight. IMG Senior Guide, Phunuru Sherpa, reported that the mountain is clear and everything is packed at ABC. The Yaks will arrive early tomorrow morning and the team will pack and descend to Tingri before continuing onto Kyirong. From there, the team will cross the border and finish the journey back to Kathmandu.
Over on Putha Hiunchuli in Western Nepal, IMG Senior Guide, Karma Rita, checked in to let us know the Sherpa climbed to Camp 1 to secure the campsite while the members stayed at base camp getting acclimatized and organized. The team will have another rest day tomorrow and also have the Puja. Everything is working out well as there is still some lingering weather moving through from the remainder of the monsoon.
All is well on Cho Oyu and Putha Hiunchuli!
