Kili Team on Summit (Phunuru Sherpa)
We received word overnight from IMG Senior Guide, Phunuru Sherpa, that the team has summited and are all now safely back down at Mweka Camp at around 10,000 ft. What a day the team had! The weather continued to be perfect and the team was all smiles from the top. They will sleep great tonight – after a good, hot meal. A long, hard day and many restless nights are now behind them. Tomorrow is an easy one. 3-4 hours of hiking downhill through the forest on good trail. No problem for this crew. Once back in Moshi, showers, relaxing and a celebratory dinner are in order! We’d like to congratulate the team on a successful summit of Mt. Kilimanjaro! Now go enjoy that safari!
