First day on safari in the Serengeti did not disappoint. Lions, check. Leopard with cub, yep. Cheetah within spitting distance? Giraffes? Herd of buffalo? Yes, yes and yes. Not a bad way to start out. The safari guides made their wages today.  And dinner wasn’t too bad either. Tomorrow is a full day game drive in the Serengeti, and everyone has their wish list. Based on today, that shouldn’t be a problem.
And, you’ll find 3 photos attached. You’ll see the group first day in the safari vehicle and you’ll also see one with the group taking photos of the sunrise and scouting for animals on a rock outcrop at our Serengeti camp.
Speaking of safari camp, check out the group at dinner in the mobile bush camp in the Serengeti. Cooks are again putting on an outstanding performance.
